It’s summer and that means one thing; holiday. Months of planning, excitement and preparation. But one family favourite has to stay at home…the beloved pet. Leaving your pet at home with a friend, relative or in a kennel while you jet off for sun, sand and sangria is never as easy as it sounds. The look in their eyes when you say goodbye says it all. You just want to pick them up, give them a squeeze and say “I cant leave you, come with us!”. But this isn’t necessary! Many pet owners are unaware of how easy it can be to incorporate your pet into the family holiday. Before you plan a holiday perfect for the pet, make sure you consider their holiday. If your dog is unwell, pregnant or injured, it could be too painful and stressful for them to endure on a long journey away from home. Also think about what they will be doing whilst away.
