The Ruffwear Front Range Harness has been a very popular product for us here at PurrfectlyYappy and has had some amazing reviews from our customers. When we decided to treat office dog Sterling to a new Harness we knew exactly the one to try!
These all day adventure harnesses come in 4 colours (Orange, Blue, Grey & Pink) and are available in a wide range of sizes (X-Small to X-Large) so you can get a very accurate fit which is often one of the hardest parts when it comes to buying a harness for your Dog. The sizing guide is very clear and the harnesses come with adjustable straps so you can get the perfect fit - This is also great for younger dogs who still need some room to grow! My dog Sterling is a 6 month old Whippet/Italian Greyhound cross - The Medium size was a great fit for him and has allowed room for him to grow into the harness. At 4 months old we had the straps as tight as they could go and now 2 month later we've loosened them and it still makes for a great fitting harness.
The Ruffwear Front Range Harness comes packed full of features including a solid aluminium V-ring for lead attachment on the back and a reinforced webbing attachment on the front of the harness. This is great if you have a dog that tends to pull as it will make them turn sideways rather than being able to keep moving forward (a great help while trying to teach a hound good walking manners!)
The harness has a reflective trim and also features a tag attachment point which means your dog doesn't need to wear a collar and harness while out on walks. A collar and harness can be a little bulky especially for smaller breeds.
Personally the reason i like this harness to the most is that it offers great stability and control over your dog - Sterling loves to run away in a burst of speed and if he's on a collar with a short lead he has only his wide collar to protect him from the pull of the lead.
Overall the Ruffwear Front Range Harness makes for a great everyday harness that will last 2-3 times longer than a lot of other harnesses around the same price point and offers a vast range of features. Lightweight, incredibly stable, reflective and adjustable - You will struggle to find a harness that matches it!
