Dog Friendly Events in the UK – March 2017

Spring is coming! With longer, lighter days, get ready for more walks and more opportunities for your dog to play with his dog buddies. Here are some dog-friendly events taking place this month.
 
12th March – The Great British Dog Walk at Gibside National Trust
 
A fab walk for dogs and owners of all ages at Gibside National Trust, Tyne & Wear. Help raise funds and awareness for life-changing hearing dogs. Choose from a 3km and 8km walk which begin at 11am.

12th March – Follow my lead charity dog walk
 
Charity dog walk at Alton Water, Holbrook Road, Ipswich, in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice. The walk begins at 10:30am and finishes 2pm. £10 per dog, owners go free, with an aim of £30 sponsorship. The money will go towards Pets as Therapy (PAT) dogs who will visit patients at the hospice. There are toilets and refreshments nearby.

18th March – The Great British Dog Walk at Sheffield Park and Garden
 
Another great opportunity to fundraise for life-changing hearing dogs. Choose from a 3km or 6km walk and enjoy the historic parkland, as well as merchandise stalls, food and drink, face-painting, tombola, and a chance to meet local Hearing Dogs.

19th March – The Great British Dog Walk at Holyrood Park
 
Holyrood Park, Edinburgh will host two dog walks for hearings dogs. Choose from a 5km accessible trail or an 8km trail.

25th March  - The Great British Dog Walk at Croome Court
 
A 3km or 8km walk are planned for Croome Court, Worcester beginning at 11am. There are some steep and muddy sections of this walk and the 8km walk takes your through parkland where livestock are kept. There will also be a Hearing Dogs demonstration on this walk.

26th March – Mothers’ Day at Trebah Gardens
 
Treat your mum this Mothers’ day. Free entry for mums and all dogs allowed in the garden area. The Trebah Kitchen will be serving a delicious two course lunch.
