As If By Magic Mr Benn's New Best Friend Appeared

Mr Benn is soon to be featuring on the big screens once again this year. With The Insurance Emporium resurrecting the 70's favourite by launching a national TV advertising campaign staring him this January.

In the advert, Mr Benn the 70's TV star sets off to go on another adventure when, as if by magic, the Shopkeeper appears to make sure all the things Mr Benn cares about are insured. Viewers also get to meet Mr Benn’s new four-legged friend, Eddie the dog, who has been added to the cast of the classic TV show.

Francis Martin, Chief Executive Officer at The Insurance Emporium, said:

“Mr Benn is a much-loved character, with a loyal following, so we were delighted that we’ve been able to create a brand new adventure for people to share in. As part of our expansion and development, we’ve made significant investments in every aspect of the business and now we’re rebooting Mr Benn for even bigger and better adventures too!”

However we think that perhaps Eddie with his heart of gold and grumpy attitude could easily steal the spotlight! Especially as he is living in the apartment next door to Mr Benn that is the well known inspiration for author David McKee to write the Mr Benn series.
