3rd July 2016 – Alsager Charity Dog Show

Think you have the handsomest hound? Organised by Alsager Vet Centre, part of the independently owned Willows Veterinary Group, this show promises to be a great day out. All proceeds will go to Whippet Rescue UK based in Sandbach. Classes will include; Prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, best rescue, waggiest tail, best veteran over seven years old, best trick or command, junior handler and dog who looks most like their owner.

Show open from 11am to 4pm in the field by The Plough Inn opposite Alsager Vet Centre in The Point, Crewe Road.

 

 

3rd July 2016 – Heaton Park Family Fun Day

Dogs Trust Manchester hopes one of the visitors to their summer show will spot their dream canine companion. As well as a number of classes for owners can enter, they’ll be showing off some of the homeless residents at their rehoming centre. There will also be sniffer dog demonstrations, agility, face painting and dog-themed games for children.

The event is 11am-4pm, entry £3 for adults and under 16s go free. It will take place near Heaton Hall. The nearest car park is Hall (North) Car Park, accessed off Saint Margaret’s Road. (M25 2GT)

 

3rd July 2016 - T J Danes Rescue Fun Dog Event

Craft stalls, tombola, raffle prizes and a dog show (£1.50 to enter) with proceeds to T J Danes Rescue.

Event open 10am until 4pm at Redcar Rugby Club, Mackinley Park, TS10 3RW.

 

 

8th, 9th and 10th July 2016 – Just Dogs Live

Three day event with lots of have-a-go activities to get involved with and fabulous demonstrations from the amazing and entertaining Staffordshire Bull Terrier Display Team to the Fast pace Agility Demo of Team Ginger aka The Hungarian Vizsla & Wire Haired Vizsla Agility Display Team.

10th July 2016 – Hounds on the Heath

The Mayhew Animal Home is holding its fifth annual dog summer event, 11am and 4pm, at Hampstead Heath. The family event includes a celebrity-judged dog show, an agility course provided by Friendly Creatures, and a meet and greet with dog behaviourist expert Kevin McNicholas. All proceeds will go to help The Mayhew help more animals in need across London.

10th July 2016 - Old Newton Country Fayre and Dog Show

Enjoy a country fayre, dog show with pedigree and fun classes, owl displays, classic cars, BBQ, local crafts and children games.

16th July 2016 – Painshill Pooch Day

A great day out for dog lovers, families and four-legged friends. Richard Curtis will be performing his K9 Freestyle dog display, Southern Golden Retriever Society’s Display Team, Agility Display by Scrambles Dog Training School and Shambles Fly Ball Display. Special guest ‘Bilbo Baggins’ Pets as Therapy Dog of the Year, Crufts 2016. Enter the fun dog show and enjoy the retail areas.

Event takes place from 11am to 4pm. Adults £8, Concessions £7, Children £4.50, Family 2 adults and 4 children £27. Tickets available from www.painshill.co.uk.

 

 

24th July 2016 – Ham Hill Country Park Fun Dog Show

Lots of fun classes for owners to join plus agility demonstrations, “have a go” timed “sausage race” lots of trade strands, hot food and refreshments. Raising money for Friends of Ham Hill, NAWT Heaven’s Gate and Ferne Animal Sanctuary.

£1.50 to enter classes. Gates open at 10am at Stone Circle, Ham Hill Country Park
